This policy explains what information the Android game Rocket Ascent (package
ee.mametec.rocketascent) handles. The game is published by MAMETEC OÜ
(registry code 12832496, Põllu 15, Põlva 63307, Estonia), which is the data controller.
Your game progress and settings are saved locally on your device. If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup so it can be restored when you reinstall the game. We (MAMETEC OÜ) do not receive or store your game progress on our own servers.
The game signs you in to Google Play Games automatically if you use it on your device (you can also sign in from the game's settings). When you are signed in, Google Play Games stores a copy of your game progress in your Google account (Saved Games) so you can continue on another device, and records your unlocked achievements and your best distance on the "Farthest Flight" leaderboard. Your Play Games profile name and avatar may be visible to other players on the leaderboard, according to your Play Games profile settings. This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; MAMETEC OÜ does not receive your Google account details. You can play without Play Games, and you can delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings.
The game offers optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch an ad for an in-game reward). Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, and ad interaction data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown; you can change your choice later in the game's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Optional purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive your payment card or billing details. The game receives only a purchase confirmation (order token and product ID) so it can unlock the item you bought. Google's handling of payment data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The game does not include its own analytics or crash-reporting SDK. If you have opted in to share usage and diagnostics with Google on your device, Google Play may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash and performance statistics.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not sell personal data. Data processed by Google (AdMob, Google Play) is handled under Google's own policies and retention periods. Locally stored game data stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Because we do not hold personal data about players ourselves, most requests are best handled directly through your device settings or Google (Google Account – Data & privacy). You can always contact us with questions, and you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
If the game starts handling data in a new way, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
